Our Proudly New Zealandfreedom farmedpork breakfast sausages

375g

Cute, wee little snarlers. Wakey wakey taste buds.

The same great flavour as our Classic Pork snarlers… but wee little versions. Great for small people, or big breakfasts. Or you can untwist the casings to create long’n’skinny sausies for a very special hot dog in a bun.

How it’s made…

Freedom Farms sausages are a careful blend of our pork shoulder, jowls, and selected cuts from our sows, who spend their lives on pasture, developing meat with an incredible, rich flavour.

We use a blend of rice flour and vegetables to bind the sausages… making them free from gluten and soy… and then season them with a mix of sage, thyme, nutmeg and black pepper – just enough to add pizzazz without
overwhelming our star ingredient, our Freedom Farmed pork.

The result? Delightfully tender porky snarlers we think you’re going to love.

Good for…

Frying

BBQ

Cooking notes…

The simplest way to cook these sausages is in a pan, over medium heat, until the exteriors are beautifully golden and they are cooked through. Easy peasy.

But don’t shy away from easing the filling out of its casing to make meatballs, Scotch eggs, stuffings, meatloaf, or to go into sauces like a Bolognese. Or brown the outsides and let the sausages finish cooking in a stew or gravy…. there’s really no limit!

You can also easily unfurl the twists in our breakfast sausages and massage the filling into the gaps to make delightful hotdogs!
